Service Agreements: Specific deliverables, turnaround times, and pricing for inspection reports will be detailed in your individual job proposal, scope of work, or service estimate.

2. Scheduling, Access, and On-Site Inspections

To perform an accurate inspection, we rely on clear access and cooperation from property owners or authorized representatives.

Authorized Access: By scheduling an inspection, you represent that you are the property owner or an authorized agent with legal authority to allow our personnel onto the premises.

Sampling Notice: Asbestos testing often requires "bulk sampling" (taking small, representative physical pieces of drywall, flooring, insulation, textured ceiling, etc.). While our inspectors exercise reasonable care to minimize visual impact, taking samples involves minor physical disturbance to building materials. We are not responsible for cosmetic repairs or refinishing wall/ceiling surfaces following sampling unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.

3. Payment Terms & Billing

Pricing: All quotes are based on the estimated scope of work, property size, and the number of lab samples required.

Invoicing: Payment is due upon completion of the inspection or prior to the release of official laboratory testing reports, depending on the terms specified in your invoice.

Delinquent Accounts: Unpaid balances may be subject to late fees or collection costs if payment schedules are breached.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that renovation plans and property closings change. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please give us at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a nominal scheduling fee.

5. Intellectual Property & Report Usage

Our Website: All text, branding, graphics, logos, and layout on this website are the property of Idaho Asbestos Inspections and protected by copyright laws. You may not copy, re-use, or redistribute our website content without prior written permission.

Inspection Reports: Once paid for in full, the final inspection report is provided for the exclusive use of the client (and their designated representatives, such as lenders, contractors, or regulatory agencies). Reports may not be altered or modified by third parties.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Professional Standards: We conduct all inspections in accordance with applicable federal (EPA/OSHA) and state environmental regulations using certified asbestos inspectors and accredited laboratory testing partners.

Scope Limitations: An inspection is limited to visible and physically accessible areas at the time of the site visit. Unaccessible, hidden, or structural areas behind intact walls/floors that cannot be disturbed without structural damage may not be inspected unless specifically requested and arranged.

Liability Limit: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Idaho Asbestos Inspections' total liability for any claim, loss, or damage arising out of our services or website shall not exceed the total fee paid by you for the specific service provided.
